I’ve been making slow but steady progress on the new book, Diana’s Leap. I’m trying to average 500 words a day, but I’m a little behind that right now. I’ve written 30,000 words so far, and I figure I’ve got another 70,000 to go. It’s hard to tell exactly how many words it’s going to take. I think the trick is to keep writing until the story is told, and then stop right there. I’m pretty happy with what I’ve got so far. It’s kind of in a nice spot right now. All the main characters have been introduced, and now I get to watch them play together in the sandbox. Should be interesting.
